'THURSTON' ARTWORK STATEMENT
I painted Johnathan Thurston because he inspires many people in Rugby League and the wider community especially in the Indigenous community where he leads by example serving his country and community. His laugh is infectious and I believe Thurston is one of Australia’s awesome rugby league legends.
